Lampert Cigars has announced a new limited edition release called Family Reserve 2021.

It is offered in a single vitola—a 5 x 52 robusto—that uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican fillers. The Family Reserve 2021 was rolled at the Kelner Boutique Factory in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

“I am so happy and proud about the collaboration with Hendrik Kelner, a master of his own,” said Dr. Stefan Lampert, founder of Lampert Cigars, in a press release. “This year we will release our super rare Family Reserve 2021, a total of 600 boxes will be made, of which 500 boxes are destined for the US Market. The cigar has been in the works since last year’s PCA. As an extra little touch for this exclusive release, we have opted to use the sustainably sourced and okoume wood for our boxes.”

As Lampert mentioned, 500 boxes will go the U.S. market while 100 boxes will go to Kind Cigars, the company’s distributor in Sweden.

The cigars are shipping this week and will be on display at the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 9-12 in Las Vegas.

Update (July 5, 2022) — Added information that the cigars are shipping this week.
