Lakewood, Ohio could become the next city in Ohio to raise the minimum age to purchase tobacco from 18 to 21.

Councilman John Litten, Ward 3, will introduce legislation on Monday that would raise the minimum age to purchase tobacco to 21 in the Cleveland suburb. In a letter, Litten cites his father’s death to lung cancer.
