Fresh on the heals of the newest Goldie, La Palina has shipped the first of its updated Family Series Miami, the Pasha.

Earlier this year, Bill Paley announced that the Family Series, the first line Paley released when he brought back La Palina in 2009, would be returning and reblended. The original release was made at Graycliff in the Bahamas, but the new blend is being produced at El Titan de Bronze in Miami, the same factory responsible for the company’s popular Goldie line.

The plan was to release Pasha, a 7 1/4 x 50 churchill named after Bill’s father, William S. Paley, first and then have the Babe (5 1/4 x 50) and Allison (6 x 52) on hand for the IPCPR Trade Show & Convention, which begins July 17. Today, the first sign of Pasha shipping emerged when Cigar Boutique of Little Havana indicated they had received the cigar.

Pricing is set at $20 per cigar and the new Family Series will be packaged in boxes of 20 with each cigar in a coffin. It’s understood that the cigar has begun to ship nationally.
