It’s almost halfway through the year and it seems we are about to be halfway through the H-Town Lancero Series.

On Tuesday, STOGIES World Class Cigars will take delivery of the La Palina H-Town Lancero, the fifth in the store’s 10-cigar series of lanceros. Ten different manufacturers are making lanceros for the Houston store. In the case of La Palina, STOGIES will get a completely new blend.

La Palina H Town Lancero

The 7 x 38 cigar is made at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic using an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The La Palina H-Town will be limited to 500 boxes of 10, with pricing set at $8.95 per cigar.

This is the first time that a completely new blend has been used in the H-Town Series. Previously entrants in the series include the Room101 Namakubi Ecuador H-Town Lancero, Alec Bradley Nica Puro H-Town Lancero, Fratello H-Town Lancero and Quesada España H-Town Lancero.

An earlier version of this story reported the wrapper as being Ecuadorian Connecticut. It has been corrected; we regret the error.
