La Palina Announces Price Increase for Several Lines

La Palina has informed its retailers that it will be implementing a price increase on several of its lines, citing a number of familiar reasons that necessitated the change.

“Due to rising costs of production, materials, and shipping, we have found it necessary to adjust our pricing to maintain the quality and service you have come to expect from La Palina,” the company wrote in a letter to retailers.

The increase applies to four of the company’s lines: the Family Series will see a 5 percent increase, the Label Series will see a 4-5 percent increase, the Classic Series will go up by 2-4 percent, while the Mr. Sam Series will increase by 5-7 percent.

The rest of the company’s lines, namely the 125th, the Double Digit, the El Año Series, the El Diario Series, the Kill Bill Series and the Nicaragua Series, remain unchanged.

The increase goes into effect on March 15.
