As it did last year with the TAA 47, La Flor Dominicana will let retailers vote on which size the company will produce as the exclusive release for members of the Tobacconists Association of America (TAA).

This week, the company is sending out three versions of a single blend: Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Cameroon binder and Dominican fillers. The three cigars measure 5 1/2 x 50, 6 x 54 box-pressed and 6 1/4 x 60.

TAA retailers will be able to smoke the cigars and then vote on which one they would like to see become a production cigar next week when the annual TAA Convention & Meeting kicks off in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico on March 6.

Retailers are expected to vote on all three cigars by placing orders for each cigar. The size with the most orders will be declared the winner.

The TAA is an organization of approximately 80 retailers who meet each year to discuss issues facing the cigar industry and also to hold a private trade show with select manufacturers. In recent years, many of those companies have created special cigars exclusive to members of the TAA.

CLE, Crowned HeadsMy Father and Tatuaje have all announced its TAA releases for this year.

Regardless of which size will be chosen, pricing will be $9.40 per cigar or $235 per box of 25.
