It’s Super Regional time, which means college baseball is almost ready to go to Omaha, Neb.

As it has done with the Super Bowl and a football-themed cigar, La Flor Dominicana has created a cigar with a baseball theme. It debuted last year, a 6 1/2 x 46/52 cigar shaped like a baseball bat.

It is back this year, though with a different blend. This version will use a habano wrapper, a Cameroon binder and Dominican fillers. Last year’s blend used a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.

Like last year’s release, it will be sold exclusively through Omaha-based retailer SG Roi and the store’s associated cigar bar, Havana Garage.

The 2017 version will be a bit wider release with 100 boxes of 10 instead of 30.

It is set to arrive at the store on the week of June 19.
