It’s been a staple of the La Flor Dominicana catalog for more than 10 years, and 2015 will be no different as the LG Diez will return to store shelves later this year.

There will be five sizes in this year’s edition: Americano (5 3/4 x 46, $11.20), Chisel Puro (5 1/2 x 54, $12.80), Cubano (5 x 50, $11.20), Lusitano (6 x 52, $12.80) and Oriental (4 7/8 x 38, $8.80). All five sizes are being released in 24-count boxes.

Not just a Dominican puro, all of the tobacco for the LG Diez comes from La Flor Dominicana’s Estancia La Flor de Palma in La Canela, with production handled by Tabacalera La Flor S.A.

Shipping is expected to begin with 30-45 days following the trade show’s close, which should have them on store shelves in September at the latest.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
