La Flor Dominicana is planning on a new size of La Volcada and it will be smaller.

The company is working on a 4 1/4 x 32 petite corona version of the blend, which has so far only been offered in a 7 x 48 Churchill size. That blend uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian corojo binder and Dominican fillers.

Jon Carney, vp of sales for La Flor Dominicana, confirmed the cigar was planned but said that the company had yet to work out some details, namely price.

La Flor did a similar concept with its La Nox line.
