The 13th iteration of La Flor Dominicana’s Gourmet Smoke Sessions will take place from Fayetteville, N.C.

Anstead’s Tobacco Co. is hosting the Nov. 11 Smoke Session, a dual in-person and virtual event that combines cigars and cooking. Each event features a special cigar, this time it’s the La Flor Dominicana Don’t Tread on Me, a 6 1/2 x 54 toro extra that uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra oscuro wrapper with Connecticut shade accents over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. The cigar features the snake symbol found on the Gadsden flag on the wrapper but made out of the contrasting Connecticut shade tobacco.

It has an MSRP of $13 per cigar and is limited to 200 packs of five cigars. For every cigar sold, $1 will be donated to Operation Cigars for Warriors.

This is the 13th release as part of the Gourmet Smoke Sessions series, a collection of 16 cigars that are being sold as part of events in collaboration with HackingGourmet.com and Meat N’ Bone, a meat purveyor based in Miami.

The La Flor Dominicana Don’t Tread on Me is based on the La Flor Dominicana Cabinet Ligero Oscuro L-400, which measures 5 3/4 x 54 and doesn’t include special accents.
