La Aurora will offer its cigars direct to consumers in the U.S. through its revamped laaurora.com

The new e-commerce platform is operated by Carisam, a company with roots in the travel and duty-free sector. A press release from La Aurora makes it clear that laauora.com will not be a place known for discounting, saying, “LaAurora.com will not compete on price with retail.”

Currently, its inventory is made up almost exclusively of La Aurora cigars, the exceptions are a handful of accessories.

It is currently not available to customers in eight states: Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Louisana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Wisconsin. Due to a new law, the storefront will become available to customers in South Dakota on Jan. 1, 2022.
