Kuuts, LLC is set to launch the second line to bear the company name, as it will be unveiling the Kuuts Connecticut at the upcoming IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The new line is a follow-up to the Kuuts Nicaragua that was released at last year’s trade show, the first cigar to bear the company’s name and its fourth core line, joining Miró, Placeres and Placeres Reserva.

This latest addition is described as a mild-to-medium blend that uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras. It is debuting in three sizes, a Robusto (5 x 52, MSRP $6.70), Toro (6 x 52, $7.20) and Gordo (6 x 60, $8.10), all of which come in 20-count boxes.

Like the other cigars in Kuuts’ portfolio, the Kuuts Connecticut is rolled at the Compañia Hondureña de Tabacos factory in Honduras. They are expected to land on retail shelves between late July and mid-August.

Kuuts, recently announced a new addition to its Miró line, the Miró Capa Negra.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
