The first batch of Kristoff’s new limited edition cigar for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) is on its to stores today.
The Kristoff TAA Exclusive 2024 is a 6 1/4 x 60 cut perfecto with a blend that uses a Brazilian maduro wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a filler of Dominican and Honduran tobaccos, which the company says puts the cigar’s strength profile at a “4 out of 5.” The cigar is produced at Tabacalera Von Eicken in the Dominican Republic, which produces Kristoff’s portfolio.
It comes with an MSRP of $15 and is presented in 10-count boxes, with production limited to 1,000 boxes. The first shipment contains 300 boxes according to a company spokesperson. A date for the remaining 700 boxes to ship was not immediately available.
Kristoff is one of several companies producing new cigars for the TAA’s Exclusive Series Program this year, along with CLE, Crowned Heads, E.P. Carrillo, Espinosa Premium Cigars, Ferio Tego, Forged Cigar Co., Gurkha, J.C. Newman, Joya de Nicaragua, Miami Cigar & Co., Oliva, Plasencia, Quesada and Villiger Cigars North America as creating exclusive products for the TAA’s Exclusive Series Program this year.
