While the Quesada España might have been made for Spain, if there was ever a retailer associated with the cigar, it’s Just For Him of Springfield, Mo. The store was one of the driving forces for the cigar’s immigration to the U.S. and has been the launch venue for the limited España Lancero and Ninfa. As such, when the retailer needed a cigar to celebrate its 25th anniversary, it only made sense it would be an España.

“The Quesada España blend is a fitting choice for this project, as it was their enthusiasm for the España that led us to introduce it on a limited level to the U.S. market in the first place,” said Terence Reilly, general manager of Quesada Cigars. “Anyone who enjoys the España in the United States has them to thank.”

It’s formally known as the Quesada Seleción España JFH 25th Anniversary, a 4 3/4 x 38/58/44 perfecto, that is described as similar to the Quesada Q d’etat Molotov. It will have a price of $7.95, with 150 ten-count boxes being made as part of the initial order. There is the possibility that more cigars could be produced in the future.

“The willingness of the Quesada family to work with our requests for our 25th Anniversary Edition is wonderful,” said Jessica Hutson, co-owner of Just For Him. “We feel the cigar is amazing and could not be happier with the end result.”

Christian and Jessica Hutson purchased the store five years ago. The cigar will be released on July 10 at an event for the store’s locker members, while the public will have a chance to purchase the cigar in-store or over the phone (417.886.8380) beginning July 11.

This is the sixth vitola for the Quesada Selección España line, the third limited version, although it’s both the first single store release and the first non-parejo.

Update (July 7, 2014)–Added pricing information and the initial production run numbers, neither of which was announced in the original press release.
