Drew Estate’s Jonathan Drew has a new role at the company, president. It’s part of a new multi-year agreement that will keep him at the brand he co-founded in 1996.

“Jonathan Drew will reduce his travel and event schedule, instead focusing on the Rebirth of Drew Estate with a conceptual lens toward brand building and team building,” said Glenn Wolfson, Drew Estate’s ceo, in a press release. Drew will report directly to Wolfson.

Over the past couple years, Drew has been almost exclusively on the road traveling to events. His new role will see him at the company’s headquarters focusing on brand development.

“We will return to high-level curation, mixed media platforms, and true collaboration,” said Drew. “We have lost our way a bit, but DE will bubble back 1,000 times stronger. Believe me.”

In addition, he will continue his role as ceo of John Drew Brands, a start-up liquor brand.

Drew Estate was sold to Swisher International in 2014.
