Southern Draw Cigars has announced an extension to its Jacob Ladder line, Brimstone.

While it uses the Jacobs Ladder name, the 6 x 56 perfecto is a different blend than the one that debuted in 2016. This version uses a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper, an American binder and three different ligeros from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

The original Jacobs Ladder used a Pennsylvania broadleaf maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian maduro binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It was described as being “double ligero.”

Pricing is set at $11.99 per cigar and it is offered in boxes of 20. The company says it will produce 75,000 cigars this year with the first allotment set to ship in July.

Jacobs Ladder Brimstone will debut at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
