J.C. Newman Cigar Co. will be increasing prices next year.
All of the company’s lines that are sold in boxes will increase 3 percent per cigar; the company’s bundle cigars will not increase in price.
In a joint letter sent by J.C. Newman and Arturo Fuente, which J.C. Newman distributes in the U.S., the companies said the price increases are due to “increased manufacturing and FDA compliance costs.”
The new prices go into effect Jan. 21, 2020.
