IPCPR 2019: Oliva

At various times the Oliva booth has looked somewhat quiet but other times it is the exact opposite. Oliva conceded—like others—that some of its biggest business is taking place on phone, not in person. However, for those that venture into the booth this year, there is new product, which isn’t always the case with Oliva.

The Oliva booth was set up backward. Normally the dark carpeting Oliva side of the booth is the front areas and the white-colored NUb carpeting is on the backside. That was reversed this year for whatever reason. Also, there are video screens that I didn’t notice before.

Oliva Serie V Maduro

After years of limited editions in various sizes, the Serie V Maduro is now a regular production offering. None of the sizes are new.

The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro will get the popular Melanio Figurado size later this year. It’s priced the same as the regular Melanio Figurado.

Oliva & NUb Ashtrays

There will be new versions of the Oliva and NUb ashtrays later this year. No word on pricing.
