For the first time in quite some time, I didn’t know what to expect from Davidoff of Geneva USA at a trade show. I knew the Davidoff brand didn’t have anything new and I knew that S.T.Dupont would have quite a bit in the way of new products, but as far as AVO, Camacho and Zino—I wasn’t sure what would be new. As it turns out, a lot.

As for the booth, it’s the same new booth the company debuted last year, which is very much in the Davidoff aesthetic. S.T.Dupont—which Davidoff distributes in the U.S.—occupies one wing of the booth and then there are products for the rest of the company’s brands are spread throughout the edge of the booth.

Davidoff added this new experience room to help celebrate its Escurio, Nicaragua and Yamasá brands. It’s rather impressive.

AVO Unexpected Celebration

This is one of four new AVO cigars, each a toro though the ring gauge varies. The concept here is that there is something special about each cigar. One of the things that I like about Davidoff’s trade show approach is that they host seminars throughout the day in the booth. Here’s UR NY talking about its cigars.
