Last year was a busy year for Oliva and new products, this year, it was back to business as usual: nothing new. That doesn’t stop people from coming to the booth and placing orders. While I wasn’t at the booth at the same time as last year, it actually seemed a bit busier than usual.

The booth is the same as it’s been for many years: a center cross-section with small offices and closets and then two large seating areas—one covered in white for Cain and NUb branding—and some breakout areas on the side.

Above is Ian Hummel talking about one that is new for Oliva: a box factory.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
