I made what has become an annual day four pilgrimage over to the My Father Cigars, Inc. booth. In past years I would try to go earlier, but the booth is generally so busy it makes more sense to go on day four when the traffic is manageable.
My Father’s booth is the same as it’s been for the last few years, ever since Tatuaje split off to its own space. It’s incredible to think that: a. these two companies once shared a much smaller space with other companies, b. these two companies were in the same space five years ago.
The cigar’s name translates into the great offer, and it adds to My Father’s growing collection of cigar lines that use historic artwork and themes, such as The Judge and Flor de las Antillas. Of note, there’s a lancero vitola as a regular production item.

My Father 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 2018
Patrick Lagreid commented that we were going to have to start using Davidoff anniversary math when it comes to My Father and that might be the case. This refers to the 10th anniversary of the My Father brand, not of the My Father Limited Edition series which began in 2010. It should also not be confused with the Don Pepin Garcia 15th Anniversary, which was released earlier this year, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Don Pepin Garcia brand.
As for the cigar it uses an Ecuadorian habano rosado wrapper with three different pelo de oro leaves underneath. Pricing isn’t finalized, but José Ortega told me that it should be in line with the rest of the releases in the series, so probably north of $20, but less than $25.

Tobacco Baez Serie SF
My Father’s mixed filler line gets a packaging update for both the box and band.
The company brought some of the original artwork for the Tobacco Baez brand, which was originally made in Cuba by José “Pepín” García’s uncle.
Vegas Cubanas
Another packaging update, this time the Vegas Cubanas line adds a light green foot band.
