Johnny Soyak of Cigar in the Bottle was here with the same cigar and liquor that was shown off last year, however this year he said it’s currently shipping.

Soyak said that as of now he has distributors that will be receiving the latest iteration of the Cigar in the Bottle product in Arizona, Las Vegas, Nev., Atlanta, Ga. and California. He is currently looking for more distributors in different regions to roll the product out to a wider audience.

Cigar in the Bottle Vartan Cigars
As for the cigar it’s the same product we wrote about last year. The cigar inside the 375ml bottle of Grand Pommier XS VSOP Cognac is from Vartan Cigars. It’s a special blend for Vartan Cigars owner Vartan Seferian, blended by Hendrik “Henke” Kelner. While the release last year was delayed, this iteration of the Cigar in the Bottle did finally get released to limited regions just before the show.

  • Wrapper: Dominican Republic (Yamasá)
  • Binder: Ecuador (Sumatra)
  • Filler: Dominican Republic
  • Cigar in the Bottle – Vartan — $300

Launch Date: July 2018 to limited regions

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
