Chinnock Cellars Cigars returns to the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show with his core line of wine-inspired cigars, as well as a new line that is geared for the novice female cigar smoker.

While it wasn’t on display, Chinnock said he was getting good feedback from the retailers who stopped by to check it out. Additionally, he has moved some of his production to the JRE Cigar Co. factory, and he mentioned that he will be rolling out a new box design for the Terroir line to make it more FDA warner sticking friendly.

Chinnock Cellars Boudoir

Chinnock calls this a line designed for the ladies, and it’s a mild to medium strength cigar that is slated to be on shelves in time for the upcoming holiday season. “I wanted to design a cigar that was small in size and medium to light in strength,” Chinnock said.

He picked the name because of its French origins, which have been used for his other releases that get their names from French words related to the winemaking industry, as he is also a winemaker in the Napa Valley. While it wasn’t on display, he added that the box will feature a crushed velvet and mylar mirror on the inner lid, a design reminiscent of a dressing room table mirror.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
