While the Arturo Fuente booth might not be new, there is a surprising amount of new cigars and many sought-after limited editions from the company’s archives returning. As is the case pretty much every year, the cigars you read about below are mostly going to be offered as part of a show special: a retailer buys 25 boxes of regular production items and then gets the rights to purchase eight boxes—one each—of the fun stuff.

The booth is the same as always: J.C. Newman, Fuente’s distribution partner and manufacturing client, takes one side of the booth, Fuente takes the other.

One little tidbit, Nick Nanavichit of NSolo Consulting Group—the company behind the FFOX 20 and many of the crazier AVO and Camacho boxes of late—made five bobbleheads of Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. These aren’t for sale, but many retailers want them to be.

Carlos A. Fuente Commemorative Humidor

This debuted at Procigar earlier this year as an item in the charity auction. Designed by Manny Iriarte, the humidor is designed to hold 150 cigars, though is most notable for what’s on the back. A small gold piece has the thumbprint of the late Carlos Fuente Sr. and can be pushed to reveal a secret compartment that holds 14 toro-sized cigars. The idea is that while Fuente Sr. was always known for giving the cigars out of his pocket to other people, he always had a way to hide special cigars for himself.

Production: 800 Units

MSRP: $550

Release Date: 2018

Don Carlos The Man

This originally appeared at a Holt’s event in late 2017 and has since been occasionally seen, but not regularly sold. Now it will be offered as part of the Carlos A. Fuente Commemorative Humidor (see above). Each person who buys a humidor will have the option to purchase two boxes of The Man.

As for what the cigar is, it’s described as Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr.’s take on the Don Carlos blend that his father made for himself. Previously Fuente Jr. told halfwheel the cigar used filler tobaccos from the company’s Chateau de la Fuente farms in the Dominican Republic.

  • Wrapper: n/a
  • Binder: n/a

  • Don Carlos The Man (5 1/4 x 50) — $14.03 (Boxes of 20, $280.60)

Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8 Rosado Sun Grown (2018)

  • Binder: Unknown

Toast Across America 2018

This year’s Toast set features a Fuente Fuente OpusX and a Julius Caeser Shark. Once again, suggested pricing is $50 with both the retailer and manufacturers donating all proceeds to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

Fuente Fuente OpusX Blue Ashtray

This is not officially for sale yet, but it seems likely to be a real item in the future. It is quite large and matches the OpusX 20 boxes perfectly.
