Kyle Gellis was once again in the Casa Fernández booth, which seems to change in varying amounts every year. While I was there, Gellis had a few people waiting on him, but he stated that at various points of the show, his space was overflowing with people.

The theme of this year’s Warped booth seemed to be neon. There was a neon sign on front, as well as the Black Honey text on the back where I sat down with Gellis for the video above. I still miss Warped’s original booth, which was well-liked by just about anyone I speak to, though I imagine this is much more practical.Serie Gran Reserva 1988

The newest release from Warped is a single-size Nicaraguan puro, but you are probably going to have to wait until next year to actually smoke it. It’s being made at TABSA and Gellis told me it’s a bit different from a typical Warped release. There’s a chance the cigar could make it out in December, but it seems more likely to ship early next year.

Black Honey will return, again. Gellis told me that the company’s popular Belicoso will be back again in October. He said that it’s part of the batch that just shipped to retailers a few weeks ago, though the second half needs more time to rest.

Coffee

Gellis is launching a new coffee company, not named Warped. He said it will begin shipping in November to specialty coffee shops. The coffee is coming from Nicaragua and Central America and roasted on demand, and that’s the end of my coffee machine.
