IPCPR 2017: Vector KGM

Null

Vector KGM returned to IPCPR with a familiar booth layout and the company’s seemingly signature white display tables that held its vast collection of primarily lighters, though there are some cutters and other accessories here. It was a fairly quiet show for Vector KGM, who showed off just three new products, one of which was a revamp of one of its classic table lighters, the Mega Pump.

Vector Quad Pump / Sonic Pump

Vector KGM took the Mega Pump and reworked it into two models, the quad-flame Quad Pump and the large single flame Sonic Pump. Both offer incredibly high temperature flames, with the Quad Pump able to hit 2,600 degrees Fahrenheit.

On the bottom of each is a detachable draw poker and triple punch cutter. It’s available in black, chrome, gunmetal, and rose gold, each priced at $150.

Vector Torpedo

The Torpedo is a pocket-friendly quadruple flame lighter that features its four jets angled inwards to create a high-temperature tip. It’s available in black and chrome, high polish chrome, rose gold, and black crackle, and sells for $39.95.

Vector Urbano

The Urbano is a new single action triple flame lighter with a large fuel window that is priced at $29.95.

About the author

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. I previously covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
