Miami Cigar & Co., long known for its distribution of La Aurora and its own Tatiana brand, has quietly grown into one of the more eclectic booths of the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The booth remains very much the same this year, though I didn’t see any HF Barcelona products on display. Jason Wood, the company’s president, mentioned that he is looking into sprucing up at least one part of the booth. It’s a design that reminds me a lot of Oliva’s booth, probably due to the color of the wood, though there’s no the middle walkway in between the cross. As always, there was plenty of espresso and ringing of the bell, a tradition each time a notable sale is made in the company’s booth. Shout out to Cigar Snob’s Jamilet Calviño for photobombing the booth photo above.

There wasn’t a ton new for Miami, though there’s still posts coming regarding new products from La Aurora and Viva Republica.

Tatiana Groovy Blue La Vita

It’s a new size for Tatiana, in the middle of the various vitolas offered across the Tatiana lines. It’s a decent change that this one size will sell more volume than many small companies at the show.

  • Wrapper: Indonesia
  • Binder: Dominican Republic
  • Filler: Dominican Republic
  • Tatiana Groovy Blue La Vita (5 x 38) — $4.08 (Boxes of 25, $102)

Launch Date: September 2017

Toscanello Anice

I’m not sure Anice is the right flavor for me, but Toscano can make some good cigars at very competitive prices. It’s a mixed fill cigarillo and it’s $1.40 per cigar, probably the least expensive item we’ll cover at this year’s trade show.

  • Wrapper: Kentucky
  • Binder: None
  • Filler: Italy, Kentucky and South America
  • Toscanello Anice (3 x 38 — $1.40 (Sleeves of 50, $70)

Launch Date: July 2017
