While JetLine isn’t known for making many, if any, announcements about new products for IPCPR, this year the company shared news about a couple of new lighters, while still kept a few things under wraps.

JetLine Big Boy Ashtray

This huge ashtray made it just in time for the trade show, and it’s impressive. It has four cigar holders on its ceramic bowl, and the bottom is made from two pieces of machined aluminum, while the whole unit is made in the USA. It will be available in the fall and have an MSRP of $300.

Jetline Phantom

One of the handful of new lighters announced before the show, the JetLine Phantom (pictured on the right) is a dual-flame torch lighter that features a single-action ignition and large, clear fuel tank. It’s available in four colors: black, red, yellow, and gunmetal. Single and triple flame versions are also in the works.

  • JetLine Phantom – $12.99

JetLine Proto-Pipe

For pipe smokers, JetLine has a pair of new options under the Proto-Pipe name. The lighters are identical except that one offers a traditional soft flame and the other a single jet torch. While the torch may be seen as a bit much for some pipe smokers, it has gained popularity amongst occasional pipe smokers or those who smoke outdoors in windy environments. It does require exercising a bit more caution than when using a soft flame, but it can still be quite effective.

  • JetLine Proto-Pipe Lighter Soft Flame – $12.99
  • JetLine Proto-Pipe Lighter Single Torch – $12.99

JetLine Villano

For those seeking a lighter with lots of firepower, JetLine has the Villano (on the left), a quadruple flame lighter that is compact enough to fit in your pocket. The lighter features a sliding ignition mechanism and a visible fuel window on its front side. It comes in four colors: black, red, yellow and silver.

  • JetLine Villano – $29.99

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
