As I noted before the show, this was an interesting year for A.J. Fernández as a company. I wondered how retailers would react to the plethora of lines A.J. Fernández, the factory, is making for other manufacturers. Abdel Fernández told me the company was experience record sales at the trade show; something that seemed believable given the traffic in the booth, even late in the day on Thursday.
The booth itself returns for another year. It features product along the walls of the booth as well as some being displayed in the middle. From the outside, the booth reminds me of a much smaller version of the company’s iconic factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The extremely popular New World line from A.J. Fernández gets a new release. This is a cigar that was blended by Abdel Fernández’s father, Ismael, using tobacco entirely from Fernández’s farms in Nicaragua.
