In the back left corner of the trade show floor was HVC Cigars. Reinier Lorenzo was showing off extensions to three of his existing brands, all of which should be on shelves within the next 30 days.
The booth was bigger than last year, this time a wider affair that was better equipped to the company’s growing portfolio of lines. I particularly liked the shelves used, which seemed like a funky IKEA-like structure.
I haven’t heard much about Cerro, one of HVC’s two original lines, in quite some time, but now there’s a maduro offering, featuring—you guessed it—Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
