Gran Habano, like many other manufacturers, had a flurry of releases last year. While that wasn’t the case this year, they did have something new as well as some things they were highlighting. As will be the case with many manufacturers, there was product that was focused on and highlighted at this year’s show, despite the fact it was released at last year’s show, due to the product’s wide releases and extra attention. For Gran Habano, they were featuring the La Conquista, which you can see here in last year’s booth coverage.

Gran Habano Gran Reserva Series
Yes, this is a photo of the 2011 version that was released two years ago, so no it is not new. They did, however, want to highlight the fact that the Gran Reserva Series would be returning next year with the Gran Reserva 2012.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
