Far and away, the most impressive display of merchandising I saw was at the De Los Reyes booth. The company added three cigars to its Short Tales series, which famously come in books, and it opted to display the various sizes on a traditional wooden bookshelf.
The Short Tales Series stands out within the rest of the De Los Reyes profile and to some degree looks a bit odd compared to the rest of the cigars. It certainly was an interesting, if not bizarre, contrast with the bookshelves and arm chairs and the broader De Los Reyes branding, which also included some of the bright pastel colored facades, which are prominent throughout the company’s Dominican factory.

I haven’t smoked any of the new sizes, all of which have roots in the Latin language and the concept of work.
