IPCPR 2016: Boveda

For the first time in a while there was something new at the Boveda booth, and that oddly might have not even been the most talked about new Boveda product at the trade show.

It seems very much business as usual for Boveda, though the company seemed to show off a lot more of their Powered by Boveda products, i.e., cigars packaged with Boveda included in the box and tin.

Boveda 330 + Metal Holder

The new larger Boveda ($18) is the star of the show. It’s designed to replace 5-6 regular Boveda packs. I got to play around with it and it’s obviously larger and heavier.

Despite the clear warning signs, the cardboard shell is removable, though it helps protect the unit in transport and also allows for it to attach to the metal holder.
