The Veritas booth was tucked away towards the back of the show, but in a fairly visible location along an aisle. While they had plenty of cigars to show off, they only had one new line being released this year.

Veritas Three Blends

Three Blends
The Three Blends line features three wrappers – a sun grown Ecuadorian Habano, a Connecticut and a habano maduro – over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan filler including Jalapa Ometepe, Condega and Estelí.

The cigar is an interesting shape, with the size being called a Half Box Press Half Corona. If you’re slightly confused the picture above might help some, but essentially the bottom half of the cigar is box pressed, while the top half is round.

This will come in boxes of nine, it will retail for $12 a cigar.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
