Outside of the trade show one evening I met the owners of Smoky Joe’s Clothing, who make a variety of items, though mainly sell smoking jackets for men, women and dogs. I had seen quite a number of people walking around with smoking jackets at the show, so I made sure to stop by their booth the next day to see what they were all about.

Offering a variety of fabric designs, color combinations and accessories, they definitely had a wide enough selection to appeal to many people. One thing the owners made sure to point out was that their products are manufactured in USA. The jackets are made of velvet or silk brocade and lined with a lightweight Bemberg material.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
