It’s a new look for PDR Cigars at this year’s trade show with the booth adding a lot of red. The star of the show is the company’s 10th anniversary release, the Flores y Rodriguez 10 Anniversary Reserva Limitada. Other than that, the amount of new product was limited, particularly compared to some others—not that that is a bad thing.

Yes, that band looks very familiar. As for the cigar, it’s an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Dominican olor binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. More details can be found here.

If you want to try one of everything under the PDR/Primer Mundo brands, there’s a new sampler. A representative told us the company plans on selling it for around $80.

Sean Williams is not at the show due to a last minute health concern, which is sad, because he’s one of the most likable people in the business. As for Primer Mundo, there are a few minor packaging changes coming, but nothing new as far as SKUs.
