The booth looks very familiar. There’s some slight changes, including the addition of a coffee bar to coincide with the launch of NUb Café. In addition, Padilla has a new release and the Oliva Viejo Mundo, which was shown off last year is now available to all accounts. Other than that, it’s very familiar.
Oliva Viejo Mundo
The dry-cured cigars is now available to all retailers. Details here.
It’s a four size line made at Oliva. There’s a 5 x 50, 6 x 60, 8 x 60 and 7 x 70 with pricing set between $6.75 and $8.75 for the Nicaraguan puro. You can read a review of the product here.
It’s not only the first flavored cigar from Oliva, but this cigar comes from a factory that is not owned by the family. The NUb Cafe is made in the Dominican Republic, although Oliva is not disclosing where exactly. It’s offered in three flavors—Macchiato, Cappuccino and Espresso—each made in six sizes: 4 x 30 ($2), 4 x 38 ($4.20), 3 3/4 x 54 ($6), 4 x 60 ($7), 5 x 42 ($6) and 4 x 30 tubos ($3.50).
