IPCPR 2013: Boveda

Boveda’s redesigned packaging from last year’s trade show is in full effect as the company’s new booth lines up with the light blue and browns that adorn its product. Partnerships are the theme and it sounds like you will probably see more soon, which is good. After a few days in Vegas we can tell you that nothing ruins a good cigar like… 19 percent humidity. That being said, a Boveda an a ziplock in your pocket solves everything.

We announced that this was now being offered to the cigar market a few days ago. There seems to be a great deal of excitement over it, which is good. For Habanos smokers, this will now be a great option.

Humidor Options
While Boveda’s partnership with Savoy, Ashton’s humidor brand, as well as its stand alone wood kits are already readily available, the company is planning on offering a metal option. The version above is a prototype. No timetable was given on the release.
