Introducing the Blog
A blog starting a blog.
It’s a bit confusing, but it’s all in a name. This isn’t about trying to shed the cigar blog moniker, because we are a cigar blog.
Rather, we needed something where we could informally communicate site news, thoughts and other things that don’t really fit into a category. So we created a blog.
I’m not sure that we will provide any sort of regularity to posts under this category, but for those that are interested in the inner workings (or more specifically inner not so working), this will give you a bit of glimpse into that.
The blog posts won’t appear on the homepage, although if you subscribe via RSS or e-mail you will get the updates; otherwise, you will have to click on the menu under the miscellaneous category.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
