Smoking at businesses, including outdoor seating areas, has its days numbered in Inman, S.C.

The City Council voted 4-1 in favor of a smoking ban that will ban smoking at all businesses including within 15 feet of entrances, windows and outdoor seating areas according to GoUpstate.com. Despite a request, no businesses will be grandfathered in and the new law will go into effect next month. Those caught violating the new smoking ban will be fined $100.

Inman is located in the northwestern part of South Carolina in Spartanburg County. It has a population slightly greater than 2,000.
