Incline Village, Nev. Bans Smoking on City Property
This week, the Incline Village General Improvement District Board of Truestees passed a new rule prohibiting smoking on all of the district’s properties, with the exception of limited designated areas.
The ban, which went into effect upon passage on April 1, will apply to beaches and other recreation areas, with violators subject to immediate suspension of recreational privileges. The ban’s passage was initially reported by TahoeDailyTribune.com.
Incline Village is located on the north end of Lake Tahoe, approximately 20 miles southwest of Reno. It is home to nearly 8,800 residents.
