Today, Illusione will begin shipping its latest cigar. It’s called *G* Gigantes, measures 6 1/2 x 56 and features branding that is rather similar to the company’s very successful *R* Rothchildes, introduced last year.

While it features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper and Nicaraguan filler components, *G* Gigantes is not simply a larger Rothchildes. Illusione’s Dion Giolito described the blend as deeper and fuller than Rothchildes. Gigantes uses Criollo 98 (Estelí) and Corojo 99 (Jalapa) binders and AGANORSA filler leaves.

The cigar is made at TABSA in Estelí, Nicaragua, the same location where Rothchildes is made. It will also come in 50-count cabinets and will retail for $7.99 per cigar. Like Rothchildes, it is a regular production release.
