While there was not a PCA 2020 Convention & Trade Show, there is an Illusione that was made specifically for the canceled event and it’s now heading to stores.

The Illusione PCA 2020 Exclusive is a 5 1/2 x 56 double robusto that uses an Ecuadorian habano claro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan criollo 98 and corojo 99 fillers. Like most of the company’s lines it is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Pricing is set at $9.95 and it is limited to 1,500 bundles of 10 cigars. Those bundles will come in blue foil.

The cigar wears the Illusione Cigares Privé band, which the company has used for a variety of releases over the years.

Illusione had intended to sell the cigar at the PCA Convention & Trade Show. Once the event was canceled, the company announced that it would sell the cigars to retailers who scheduled virtual sales meetings with the company.
