Illusione is not known for its private label program and owner Dion Giolito is not known for doing events, but on Dec. 5, both rarities will merge for the launch of the Illusione Pactum.

It’s the latest store exclusive for Florida-based Smoke Inn, the ninth release in the store’s Microblend Series which began in 2010.[ref]There were two Padrón releases in 2011, a maduro and natural, meaning this is the 10th different cigar.[/ref] The 5 1/2 x 56 box-pressed Pactum uses a San Andrés Capa Fina maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers. It is produced, like most of the recent new Illusiones, at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Pactum, which is Latin for agreement, will be released at party on Dec. 5 at the retailer’s Boynton Beach location. Only 400 boxes of 15 will be produced with 200 on hand for the event and another 200 shipping in January. Smoke Inn will begin selling the cigars via its website on Dec. 6.

Pricing is set at $134.25 per box or $8.95 per cigar.

This is the third limited edition private label from Illusione this year following the Illusione Sin Cinta for Fox Cigar Bar in Gilbert, Ariz. and Illusione MC Slam for R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Giolito told halfwheel Pactum will carry the Cigars Privé bands he has introduced for his private labels.
