A third size of the HVC 500 Years Anniversary will begin shipping to stores next week.

The HVC 500 Years Anniversary Selectos, a 5 5/8 x 46 corona gorda, is the newest size to be released. The line debuted last year in a single 5 5/8 x 52 size and a 4 1/2 x 52 vitola was released a couple of months ago.

Like other HVC cigars, the name is inspired by Havana, Cuba, which celebrated its 500th anniversary last year. Blend-wise, it uses Nicaraguan tobaccos from AGANORSA, specifically a corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa over a binder from Jalapa and criollo 98 and corojo 99 fillers from Estelí and Jalapa.
