Last year, HVC Cigars introduced the First Selection Broadleaf, a two-size line that was sold in a single box containing 10 Short Robustos and 10 Toros.

There were a total of 500 boxes made but now there will be more. HVC says it will begin shipping First Select Broadleaf again and that the cigar is now a regular production item. All of the details remain the same as the 2018 release: a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

  • HVC First Selection Limited Edition Broadleaf Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 52) — $9.50 (Boxes of 20, 210)
  • HVC First Selection Limited Edition Broadleaf Toro (6 x 52) — $11.50 (Boxes of 20, $210)

This cigar marked the first time that the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory has made a cigar with a broadleaf wrapper.

HVC says that it will offer the cigars to all accounts at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
