HVC’s second line is getting its fourth size.

The company will unveil HVC Cerro Robusto Gordo (5 1/2 x 58) at next month’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans, La. It’s part of a busy roster of new releases from Reinier Lorenzo for the trade show. He has previously announced the second edition of HVC Vieja Cosecha and the new HVC Edición Especial 2015.

The Cerro Robusto Gordo carries a suggested retail price of $9.40 per cigar and will come in boxes of 20. It’s a Nicaraguan puro made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
