For the first time ever, HVC will use a broadleaf wrapper.

It’s being featured on a new cigar, aptly called HVC First Selection Limited Edition Broadleaf, which uses a Connecticut broadleaf viso wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers from AGANORSA.

The HVC Limited Edition Broadleaf is offered in two sizes—Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 52) and Toro (6 x 52)—both packaged in a single 20-count box with 10 of each cigar.

Production is being handled by the AGANORSA-owned Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory in Estelí.

Reinier Lorenzo, HVC’s owner, told halfwheel that he has not finalized pricing. Production is limited to 500 boxes and it will begin shipping in August.

The 2018 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 13 in Las Vegas.
