The HVC 500 Years Anniversary line is now a regular production line.

Originally released in October 2019, the line was made to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana, Cuba. It uses a Nicaraguan puro that uses a corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa, a binder from Jalapa and criollo 98 and corojo 99 fillers. It is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. in Estelí.

HVC will now sell two sizes—both previously limited editions—as regular production offerings:

A third size, the 4 1/2 x 52 Shorts, was made as an exclusive for Privada Cigar Club.

Both cigars are priced slightly more expensive than when they were released. The MSRP for the Tesoros is $1 more and the Selectos has increased 50 cents in MSRP.

The Tesoros was limited to 1,333 boxes, while the Selectos was limited to 500 boxes. The new cigars will not come with the Edición Limitada band that was used on the original releases.

HVC will show off the regular production versions of the 500 Years Anniversary at TPE 2021, which takes place May 12-14 in Las Vegas.
