Huw Williams Join Tor Imports

Huw Williams has been named the strategic partnerships manager UK & Exports of Tor Imports, a leading cigar distributor in the United Kingdom.

Williams spent 14 years at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), most recently as global board commercial director in 2020. Since then he’s worked as the managing director of Pareto Commercial Consulting.

“I’m delighted to have Huw join our senior team at Tor, whose pedigree and experience in sustainable business growth and innovation speak for themselves,” said Scott Vines, managing director of Tor Imports, in a press release. “He will play a fundamental role in our vision and strategic plans to scale our business, with a focus on the distributive, convenience, and alternative verticals. He will work alongside our team to further develop Tor’s range of products, and the quality and efficiency of services that we offer to all our partners domestically and internationally”.

Williams’ role begins on Jan. 1.

While Tor Imports is best known as a distributor for new world cigar brands—it distributes cigars and accessories for more than 30 companies—it also has its own brands of cigars, pipe tobacco and accessories.
